MTG COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF 100% OF SLOVENIAN TELEVISION CHANNEL

Modern Times Group MTG AB, the international broadcasting group, today announced that it has received the necessary approvals from the Slovenian Ministry of Culture regarding its acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Prva TV d.o.o. in Slovenia. Prva TV d.o.o. owns 100% of PRVA TV, which is the third largest privately owned free-to-air television channel in Slovenia. MTG has now completed the acquisition and assumed full operational control of the station. MTG will consolidate the results of PRVA in its accounts within the Viasat Broadcasting business area with effect from today.
