INTV EXTENDS CONTRACT FOR INTERACTIVE PLATFORMS IN SPAIN UNTIL 2006 MTG-owned InTV is a successful producer of content for interactive platforms in Spain. InTV's current exclusive contract for content production and advertising sales with national TV channel Telecinco has now been extended until 2006. Turnover during the period of the contract is expected to amount to SEK 400 million. MTG has been established in Spain with production and advertising sales for teletext since 1995. Last year, sales from operations amounted to SEK 34.2 million. First-quarter 2000 sales amounted to SEK 10.2 million, an increase of 50% over the corresponding period last year. Teletext has been the starting point for further development of interactive platforms: chat services through teletext and mobile phones' SMS text, WAP services, in which existing teletext content is accessible via mobile phones, and Internet. InTV has an exclusive contract with Telecinco, which is one of Spain's two terrestrial commercial TV channels. An equivalent agreement is also in effect with TeleMadrid, a regional channel for the greater Madrid area. The contract with Telecinco has been extended until March 10, 2006. The agreement also includes production of corresponding content via broadband when Telecinco begins digital broadcasting.
