MTG’s history is long and spans over three decades of business in the entertainment and media business.

Today MTG is an international, mobile-first, gaming group that offers players all over the world a wide range of popular game franchises. The current iteration of MTG was taken in 2019 following a split of the legacy company. That legacy company is today listed on the Swedish stock exchange as Viaplay Group.

In this ‘archive’ section of our press room, we store the legacy press releases and announcements that are part of our past, but not relevant to our current form. That way, we keep it available in case it’s needed. Not just on display, above the fireplace as the center of attention.
